Very satisfied sofar, bought them last spring to replaced an aging pair of Continental extreme contact; got less than 3000 miles on them but couldn't think of another tire manufacturer with reasonable prices and performance in one package. Have experiences with P7 and P 600 in the past in my younger years and they did not disappoints. Stand by for more when there is snow is on the ground...

The Milan, Italy-based tire manufacturer Pirelli is the world’s sixth-largest tire maker and has been rolling out tires since 1872. Manufacturing tires for motorcycles, cars, and bicycles, Pirelli operates in over 160 countries and has 19 manufacturing facilities spread across the globe. Among its wide range of tire lines, the Pirelli P Zero category is dedicated to ultra-high-performance tires, and the P Zero All Season Plus is the most affordable tire in the company’s UHP lineup. The Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus is available in 38 sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches covering most of the tire sizes on performance cars.
The P Zero tire line offers driving enthusiasts excellent control and comfort at high speeds. The P Zero All Season Plus delivers impeccable performance with sports cars, coupes, and sedans, in all seasons, including light wintry conditions and light snow. With the use of innovative technologies such as the Pirelli Noise Canceling System (PNCS) and advanced silica polymers, the noise levels are reduced to a minimum. The all-season tread pattern also promises to lend enough traction and grip in dry, wet, and light snowy conditions. Does the Pirelli tire manage to meet the challenging demands of the performance cars? Let’s find out in this Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus review.
Features and Benefits
As an ultra-high-performance all-season tire, the P Zero All Season Plus blends high-end performance with year-round traction. But that’s not all it does. Here are some of the highlights:
Broad shoulder blocks with lateral siping aid in delivering excellent grip on dry surfaces, especially during high-speed cornering. Moreover, they assist in the easy channeling of water during situations of hydroplaning to regain traction. The multi-rib tread pattern with a curvy shoulder profile ensures precise steering responses and a composed and confident ride.
For improved winter performance, the P Zero All Season Plus features winter siping technology that allows for great stability and excellent traction on snow. The four circumferential grooves expel water and slush quickly from the tread to restore control and avoid any chances of hydroplaning. Additionally, a special silica-based rubber compound is made to withstand challenging environments and works really well in mild wintry conditions.
Laced with Pirelli Noise Canceling System (PNCS), the P Zero All Season Plus reduces noise with the help of a sound-absorbing device installed within the tire on its circumferential wall. Furthermore, the reinforced carcass with variable tension control nylon belt optimizes surface contact for effective treadwear, high levels of comfort, and improved control at high speeds. With a specific pitch sequence, tread blocks of varied sizes divert sound and help reduce the noise in the first place.
Pros and Cons
The P Zero All Season Plus appears to offer great UHP traits but are there any concerns? Let’s take a look at its advantages and disadvantages.
PROS
- Backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty and Pirelli’s Confidence Plus Plan
- Pirelli Noise Canceling System for reduced road noise
- Variable tension nylon belt for an optimized footprint that improves control, comfort, and wearability
- Circumferential grooves for quick water disposal and hydroplaning resistance
- Lateral siping on shoulders for improved traction and effective cornering
- Optimized all-season tread for excellent year-round performance
CONS
- Cannot be used in moderate to heavy winter conditions
- Must rotate tires every 5,000 miles to not void warranty
SimpleTire’s view on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires
The Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus competes against the likes of the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus (starts at $139), and Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS (starts at $152). However, the P Zero All Season Plus offers great highway performance for enthusiasts with excellent grip and traction year-round.
It offers drivers a quiet and comfortable ride, long-lasting tread, great wet traction, and superior accelerating/braking performance. Above all, the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus is way more affordable (starts at $120) comparatively, and is $20 less per tire than its nearest price rival – the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus. This makes it the most preferred option in this category and our recommended tire as well.
Vehicles the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus is an OEM tire for
Being an ultra-high-performance all-season tire, the P Zero All Season Plus is preferred by the German automaker BMW for its 2018 X3 xDrive30i. However, it can also be equipped in cars like Hyundai Veloster, Acura ILX, Kia Forte, Toyota Prius, Subaru BRZ, and Lexus CT200h as a great replacement tire.

Love these! From the moment they were first put on, I could feel the difference immensely! They hug the road on turns, they're quiet on the road and they make my vw EOS so much more fun to drive! Best purchase/upgrade I've made for my car. Highly recommend! You can never go wrong with Pirelli's.
I was looking for a set of UHP all-season tires for my 1999 Volvo wagon (that's not quite stock). I immediately went to the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 and Continental DWS06+, both tires that I have had on other cars and loved. However, I remember hearing about these tires years ago as a competitor to the orginial DWS06 and Pilot Sport AS3+, and even then getting positive remarks for their driving feel. Are these as good as the Pilot Sport AS4 and DWS06+? To put it simply, no. BUT, for the price I got them for it was excellent value for money. One thing I would argue though is that these tires are extremely FUN! The limit of grip may be slightly lower than the other 2, but the progression towards the edges of grip are very fun to play with on these. They communicate what they're doing very well with excellent feel and audible squeel before you get anywhere near their limits. They released an improved version of this tire recently which I am excited to try out.

So far I am loving these tires, they really stick to the road. I have driven in wet rainy weather and they hold the road well. I have yet to get to the snow and ice yet, so that is to come soon I guess. I would recommend these any car or small suv.
Excellent tires for the price. They compliment my Cadillac CTS perfectly. Highly recommend.
I've had these tires on my 2013 Dart for almost five months now and they've been great. They handle well in rain or shine, they're quiet, and the treadwear has been exactly as expected.
2013 Volvo c30 R design 6 speed manual. I had sport pilot s4's on it and they were great for the first 5000 miles. After that they got louder and not as good in the rain. Decided to switch to pirelli's so happy I did.
Awesome tires
